I’m a Creative Technologist and enthusiastic maker, currently leading the prototyping team at CityLAB, Berlin’s public innovation lab, where I focus on using technology and design to explore new possibilities in the public sector. I enjoy speaking on software prototyping and artificial intelligence and honored to be named a Rising Star on the 2025 Government AI 100 list.

Ich bin Creative Technologist und begeisterter Maker und leite aktuell das Prototyping-Team im CityLAB, dem öffentlichen Innovationslabor Berlins. Dort arbeite ich daran, mit Technologie und Design neue Möglichkeiten für den öffentlichen Sektor zu erschließen. Außerdem spreche ich gern über Software-Prototyping und Künstliche Intelligenz – und fühle mich geehrt, dass ich auf der Government AI 100 Liste 2025 als „Rising Star“ ausgezeichnet wurde.

I thoroughly enjoyed these opportunities to speak previously: Giving a guest lecture in 2023 at BSP Business & Law School about "Generative AI and Its Implications for Education". I was onducting a workshop at re:publica 22 on senseable cities using our experimental Stadtpuls platform. Additionally, I presented a talk with Tori Boeck at FOSS Backstage about creating an open-source hub for city government, titled git init Berlin. The year before, I also appeared at FOSS to deliver a talk named Pull Request Your Government.

Ich habe diese Gelegenheiten, als Speaker aufzutreten, sehr genossen: 2023 habe ich eine Gastvorlesung an der BSP Business & Law School zum Thema „Generative KI und ihre Auswirkungen auf die Bildung“ gehalten. Außerdem habe ich auf der re:publica 22 einen Workshop zu „senseable cities“ durchgeführt, basierend auf unserer experimentellen Plattform Stadtpuls.

Darüber hinaus habe ich gemeinsam mit Tori Boeck auf der FOSS Backstage einen Vortrag über den Aufbau eines Open-Source-Hubs für Stadtverwaltungen gehalten, mit dem Titel „git init Berlin“. Im Jahr davor war ich ebenfalls bei der FOSS Backstage vertreten und habe dort den Vortrag „Pull Request Your Government“ gehalten.
